Dealing with Anger?

088-photomanipulations-fire Anger is such a powerful emotion!  It is so powerful, it can be down right scary.  Scary, when directed at us.  Scary, when we are feeling it.  It can overwhelm us.  It can make us feel out of control.  It can also provide a momentary false sense of power.  However, acting from anger hardly ever gives us the results we really desire.

In our society, we desperately try to control it with anger management.

But, we can do one better!

Behind every anger there is a story, a story that wants to be heard.  Anger actually comes from a wounded place and a deep sense of powerlessness.

Perhaps you have anger issues.  Or perhaps you are reading this because a loved one is directing their anger at you, which only means that deep down you carry your own anger.  However, you may have buried it so deep you don’t even know it’s there.  Your loved one is mirroring it to you.

And yes, while your loved one may have their own anger issues, remember that you can’t change someone else.  You can only change yourself!  You have been guided to read this for a reason.

If you are ready do deal with the anger in your life, I am ready to help you uncover the story behind it and heal the wound underneath, wherever it may take us.

Watch anger dissipate and peace set in, as you find resolution within, and connect with your true power.

FEAR – Real or Imaginary?

As we progress in our ascension process, we hear about the importance of moving out of our fear and into a place of love.  For those of you who have not heard of ascension, it is the spiritual shift we are undergoing and have been for some time. We are moving out of the third dimension, which is primarily fear based, and into the fifth dimension which is about unification and love.   As part of this spiritual shift, we are attempting to re-connect with our spiritual selves and the source of our inner power and love.

Let’s explore fear, and how we can most effectively leave it behind and connect with that part of ourselves that is the source of our inner power and love.  Wouldn’t it be nice, not having to live in fear anymore?

You might have heard the slogan FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real.   It suggests that FEAR is imaginary.  But is it?

When confronted by a bear, we might agree that our fear is real.  There is nothing imaginary about facing a real life threat!   But what about fear of speaking in public?   In the absents of any threat to our life, is our fear real or imaginary?  As such, we may conclude that fear is only real if we are faced with a real life threat.  But is it?

What about the fear of flying?  Just because we have a fear of flying doesn’t mean the airplane will crash.  Does then flying an airplane pose a real threat to our life?  Now we get into probabilities.  How probable is it that our airplane will crash?  We could reason that if the plane crashes, our fear was real, and if it didn’t crash, our fear was imaginary.

Some of us may believe that fear is our biggest ally because it protects us from danger.  But does it?  Let’s take a look.  If the airplane crashed and therefore the threat to our life was real, then why were some of us not afraid to fly?  Does fear then serve to protect only some of us and not others?  And if the airplane did not crash and there was no reality to our fear, why then did some of us experience fear of flying?  What was our fear protecting us from?

Ok, you may say, in that case our fear was imaginary.  But, what does it mean, fear is imaginary?  Why would anyone want to imagine being afraid?  Ok, you might say, perhaps it is not the fear we imagine, perhaps it is the threat we imagine, based on our fear.  Good point.  But, what causes us to imagine a threat that’s not real?  What causes us to be afraid in the first place?

Looking at the above examples, we can clearly see that in some cases we can experience fear in spite of any real threat, whereas in other cases we may be facing a real threat and not experience any fear at all.  So, if the threat itself is not causing us to be afraid, then what is? And is our fear real or imaginary?

I venture to say that fear is real.  After all, it is an emotion, and emotions are real.  If we feel them, we feel them.  We really feel fear, even if we can’t justify it.  I mean, how do we imagine feeling fear, right?  Perhaps the better question is why do we feel fear?

Based on my years of experience I have come to learn that fear is very closely related to our past pain.  I mean, how do we know to be afraid of something unless we have experienced pain there before?  Take a child, for example, who may be completely fearless around a stove, until it burns its hand.  Afterward, the same child will experience fear around touching the stove.  Isn’t this what happens to us when we have our heart broken, when we are rejected, when we are judged and persecuted, or when we experience physical pain, like perhaps falling off a bike?

I know, you want me to explain the fear of flying.  After all, if you had crashed with an airplane, you wouldn’t be alive to experience any fear of flying.  So, why do some of us experience it?  Well, I venture to say that you probably have crashed with an airplane, but it happened in another lifetime.  This brings up the question of past lifetimes, which may very well be a question in your mind, but is not a question in mine.  Over the course of many years of healing work I have witnessed many fears experienced by my clients in present time that originated from pain they have experienced in other lifetimes.

As such, feeling fear has nothing to do with the reality of a threat in present time.  Our fear is based on our past.  The only basis fear has in our present is that the circumstances may look similar to that of our past.  In fact, our fear can very much distort our perception of our present, because while it may look similar it may not be the same at all.  And we tend to project our past onto our present.  I venture to say that our fear is real, because it is based on real pain.  However, the present time danger may not be real at all.

Fear is a big part of our very primitive survival mechanism.  It is based on the probability that we may experience pain under similar circumstances as we have in our past.  All pain, by the way, is considered anti survival, no matter if physical, mental or emotional.  This is just how primitive our survival mechanism is.  It doesn’t differentiate between a potentially life threatening situation and one where the perceived threat is mental or emotional.  Is it any wonder that according to statistics our fear of public speaking can be greater than that of dying?  And just how well is fear aiding in our survival?  Let’s take a look.

Perhaps you have heard or even experienced how fear can paralyze us, or cause us to hesitate in crucial moments, or cause us to place unjustified judgements on people or situations.  Imagine a police officer hesitating using his or her gun when being shot at.  Imagine feeling paralyzed standing in the doorway while facing a bear, when what is called for is to act quickly, step back and close the door.  Imagine someone panicking under water as they are being dunged over and over, and because they are panicked they keep trying to come up for air in the same place.  On the other hand, if they were not panic stricken they might swim out a foot or two and would be able to come up for air.  Imagine being falsely accused because of someone’s fear.  How many of us have been accused of witch craft and persecuted in our past lifetimes because of our psychic or healing abilities, because someone was afraid of our powers?  And how well did the accuser fair when killing the very person that could help him heal?  Imagine one partner falsely accusing the other of cheating out of fear of being betrayed, destroying the relationship in the process.

What about all those times when we experience fear in the wake of no threat?  How is fear serving us then?  How about when it is part of our soul’s purpose to speak in public, and because of our fear we rather forgo living an inspired life?   How about when we meet our soul mate, and because of our fear of a possible heart break, we bypass the love of our life?  How about when we’re guided to the person who can help us most on our spiritual path, and then we second guess ourselves, preventing ourselves from getting the help we need?  How about when we forgo investing in ourselves out of fear of not having enough, and ultimately prevent ourselves from having all the abundance we deserve?  How about when our fear prohibits us from leaving our house, driving our car, or flying an airplane?  We may be surviving, but are we thriving?  Are we living the life we are meant to live?

Perhaps then the more important question is, should we allow our fear to guide our actions?  A shaman once taught me that we should never allow our emotions to guide us.  Our emotions are far too temporary and volatile to be a dependable guide.  The purpose of our emotions is to express.  Our actions and decisions should be guided by our spirit, our higher self, which knows the bigger picture, is the source of our inner power and love, and always has our highest good in mind.

So, how do we get past the fear factor?

First and foremost, it helps to recognize when we are coming from a place of fear.  If we are experiencing fear, anxiety, panic, stress, anger or any other upsetting emotions, surely we are subconsciously connected to our unresolved past, and our perception of our present time may be skewed.  At the same time, we can’t be connected to our inner power and love.  However, if we are emotionally neutral about a situation, we can safely assume that we have a clear connection to our higher self.  Spirit shows up as a sense of knowing.  It doesn’t come attached with emotions.

Recognizing which place we are coming from, we can make better choices.  We can choose not to act from a place of fear, where we don’t see clearly.  In the case of fear urging us to act, we can choose not to act.  We can choose to postpone making any major decisions.   In the case of fear preventing us from taking action, we can choose to feel the fear and do it anyway.  I’m not saying that this is easy.  This may not be easy at all, depending on the intensity of your fear, which is directly related to the intensity of your past pain.  This is, by the way, where spiritual blocks come from.  They can be very powerful.  You may or may not be able to overcome your fear by shear will power.

But we can overcome our fear by smart power.  Here is the secret to overcoming fear.  We have to heal our past pain, the source of our fear.  In the absents of pain there is no fear.  Given the same situation that had us tied up in knots before, we can now confront it completely unfazed and remain connected to our inner power and love.  And unlike fear, our spirit will always steer us correctly.

You don’t have to keep living with fear!  Spiritual healing is the answer.  Spiritual healing is about transformation, transformation of our unresolved past pain into wisdom.  Healing our pain also helps us rise vibrationally into the higher dimensions.  Pain is generally heavy on the soul.  Thus when transformed into wisdom we feel lighter.   This is why now, during ascension, is such a crucial time for us to heal.  We are now more than ever before supported to do just that.

Healing Into Abundance

Abundance is what we naturally already have.  It’s all around us.
So, why do some of us feel like we can’t quite access it, like we don’t have enough?
Ultimately it has everything to do with how we feel on the inside.  Our reality is a mere reflection of our inner self.
We cannot change our feeling of not having enough by earning more money.

A classic example is a recent client testimonial:
“I always held two jobs, even though one job provided me with more than enough money to live very comfortably.  In spite of things, I never felt I had enough, no matter how much money I made.  Since completing numerous healing sessions with Dagmar, I feel a sense of calm I never felt before, and I finally feel that I can hold onto my money.  I now give money away and it comes right back to me.  …without any effort on my part.  What a great feeling not having to worry anymore!  I can now relax and enjoy life.”

…but we can change the feeling of  not having enough by reconciling deep within ourselves our unresolved experiences.

The Addictive Sense of Hurry

Are you always in a hurry?

We seem to predominantly live in a culture that is constantly in a hurry.  But where are we going in such a hurry?  And when do we arrive?  I challenge you to take a different viewpoint.

Notice how nature never hurries, yet everything gets accomplished.

So, why do we feel like we need to hurry?   Why do we feel that we don’t have time to stop and smell the roses?  I venture to suggest that your need to hurry comes from an underlying belief of “not enough”.  You don’t have enough time.  You don’t have enough money.  You simply don’t have enough.  Your relationship with your world is based on scarcity rather than abundance, which incidentally can be remedied through spiritual healing.  It is absolutely an inside job!  You can’t fix it out there, no matter how much time or money you throw at it.  It will never be enough.  Your deep seated belief will just keep manifesting itself in the form of you constantly chasing your tail and never catching up.  I admit though, it’s quite addictive – trying to catch your tail.

Are you ready to STOP

…and enjoy life?

Appreciating Life

I would like to share with you the following post written by my son after going through some tremendous trials recently.  I wish for all of us to have such incredible appreciation for life as he has come to have.

Wonder – the desire to know or to be curious about something.

I’ve tried to live my life with constant wonder. I’ve always been interested in the way things work and how the universe is put together. For instance a flower… Such a beautiful construction of such complexity yet perceived with such simplicity. All the mechanics of nature coming together to produce such an amazing construct that produces pleasure for so many creatures on what we perceive to be the simplest level. Yet to describe to someone how a flower came to be is a very complex question. Proportions are specifically designed yet no one built it, it just came to be by the randomity of life by our physical perception. However; in order for the flower to look, smell, and taste the way it does the universe had to work in just the right way in order for it to become what we see when we go for a walk. The beauty it portrays is one hundred percent a divine construction. A creation of the master plan by the master of all. To me a flower represents the sheer beauty, peace, and awesomeness of life. So when I get a chance through the normal day to day hustle and bustle I try to take a moment and stop and admire the sheer gift that has been given to me by stopping and smelling that flower that was inspired to live right there in that moment which allowed me to come across it to be able to appreciate the wonder of the universe that we live in.

My name is James Perkins. I am an estranged husband of a beautiful wife and the father of three children. I have experienced the sheer destruction that drug addiction causes to ones life and have been homeless and can fully appreciate the lack of compassion that mother nature truly has when it comes right down to survival of the fittest. However; through these experiences I also found love, a true divine connection, a way that everything is connected or what someone might perceive as God. That love and compassion do exist and they are not just a manifestation of perception. Love exists. Beauty exists. Life exists. I’ve realized through my travels that the one common denominator that everyone and everything searches for is love. Sometimes people manifest this in aberrant ways which is what we call evil. From my experiences I have learned that evil is really the pursuit of love by destroying. Of course this is why when you are on the path of evil you don’t find love but rather more evil. One can’t go through life harming those around him and not become harmed himself. I have been clean for a while and now I’m putting my life back together. By grace I’m alive and have a chance to start over. Not everyone gets this chance and with this realization I know that I have been blessed with a chance to understand and live a life filled with love.

Are You Noticing The Increasing Turmoil In People’s Lives?

Has your life been recently turned upside down?  Or perhaps you know someone whose life has been suddenly filled with such drama, it seems surreal?

I’ve seen people who have had decent lives suddenly lose their jobs and go homeless, or get stuck in between homes, lose everything they own, lose their children, or their long term relationships fall apart, or they suddenly are dealing with unexplained physical ailments.  I’ve seen people with a lot of indigestion and stomach issues, sudden unexplained aches and pains and autoimmune disorders.   Globally, we can also witness turmoil, for example the refugees from Syria crisis.

I, myself, have been dealing with some interesting and quite surreal drama in my family too.  As a spiritual healer, I am not immune to the spiritual shift we are undergoing.  However, I do find comfort in understanding what is happening and why, and it definitely helps having tools with which I can ease my life.

I don’t know if perhaps you might have noticed how some of the old ways of doing things are no longer working, like going to the doctor to resolve your ailments.  As part of the spiritual shift we are being more and more prompted to go within and look for resolution within ourselves.  The big push is to resolve our old karma.  This will ultimately help us move into the higher dimensions.

We are moving from the 3rd dimension of dualism (good and evil), where we have been primarily learning through the experiencing of pain, to the 5th dimension of love and oneness, where no pain exists, as is my understanding.  It makes sense.  After all, the 5th dimension is much higher in vibration and pain is a low vibration energy.  In order to accomplish this shift, the vibrations on our planet have been increasing gradually, allowing us to make the necessary adjustments.  It is this continuous increase in vibration, however, that is having a sort of flush out effect on our old unresolved pain, also referred to as our karma.   This flushing out of our old karma is manifesting itself in our daily drama, which is nothing more than the recreation of our old trauma.  In other words, we are re-living our old karma in hopes that by confronting it, we will resolve it within ourselves.  And I’m not just talking from this lifetime, but also from past lifetimes.

We have this amazing ability to disconnect from our pain.  This, incidentally, is how we create incomplete experiences we then carry around with us on our soul for sometimes many lifetimes.  Now, more than ever before, we are supported to resolve our incomplete experiences, or our karma.  We must, in order to move up in vibration.  Think, the old pain is like carrying around sacks of potatoes, heavy.  Thus in our daily situations we are being more forcefully confronted with our past pain and the issues we have yet to resolve.

So, if you find yourself experiencing extreme tiredness, fear, stress, or worry, or you find yourself in some surreal situation or with sudden physical ailments, know this: whatever discomfort you are experiencing right now, it is about resolving your karma!  Understanding this always brought me peace of mind, because I knew if I could resolve the issue energetically within myself, the situation I was facing would resolve itself.  Got to try this.  It’s like magic.

The huge comfort is in knowing that you don’t have to keep re-living your old pain.  You have a choice.  You can get some help from someone who understands spiritual healing and how to help your soul reconcile your past, especially if you yourself don’t know what you are doing.

Know that trying to resolve your karma by re-living it may take days, weeks, months, years or even lifetimes, where you may resolve your past in a matter of hours with the help of a spiritual healer.

But beware.  Not all healers are alike.  Do your research and ask your spirit for guidance to the right person who can help you in your highest good.

….and let’s move into living with ease, grace and joy!

Healing Forgetfulness

Have you been forgetful lately?

Sure, occasionally we all forget something.  But, what if you were forgetting things all the time?

Is there more to it than meets the eye?

Recently, I facilitated an interesting healing session.  The person who experienced the healing allowed me to share his story with you.  He had been forgetful to the extreme lately, forgetting important things to bring or to do.  He came to me for a healing about his forgetfulness.

The healing session took him into a past lifetime in which he had been a jet fighter pilot.  On one of his missions, as he was thinking about his wife and how much he loved her, he forgot to do a routine check on his plane prior to take off.  Later in flight, he saw himself ejecting from his plane because of a technical malfunction.  His buddy, who was also flying that day was shot down and killed.

In his mind, he concluded that this strange set of circumstances saved his life.

If he hadn’t been thinking about his wife and forgotten to do the routine check on his plane, the plane may not have malfunctioned causing him to eject.  Instead, he probably would have been shot down, like his buddy, and died.   Thus, deep in his subconscious mind he associated forgetfulness with love and protection.  This subconscious equation was manifesting itself in his life in such a way in which he needed to forget things in order to have love and protection.  So, he would continuously forget things.

In the healing session, as I normally do in this type of situation, I asked him if he would like to change his decision.  He clearly felt resistance to do so, feeling that he would have to somehow give up love and protection, if he gave up being forgetful.  I told him, “You don’t know for sure if you would have died that day, just because your buddy died.  And, what if you could have love and protection all the time, without having to forget things?”  He liked that and changed his decision to having love and protection all the time, thus ceasing the need to forget.

After the healing, he went about his life remembering things.

What is Spiritual Healing & What are the Benefits?

There are so many therapies out there these days that call themselves Spiritual Healing, but most people don’t know what Spiritual Healing actually is, or the many ways they can benefit.

How Allergies can be affected by Spiritual Healing

An allergic reaction is nothing more than our body’s physical rejection of the “something” we are allergic to.   Usually it is a substance we come in contact with or something we ingest or something our senses pick up  in our environment.  So why is our body rejecting that something?  Simply stated our body will reject something when in our subconscious mind we perceive that something to be a threat to our survival, like pain for example.  Pain is in-congruent with our survival.  When we have experienced a painful situation that we haven’t fully digested our survival mechanism kicks in as soon as we approach a similar situation trying to prevent us from re-experiencing that pain and potentially death.  The intensity of our reaction can range anywhere from mild to severe depending on how much “charge” we carry on the pain we have experienced.

Say for example you had been burned to death on a hay stack in a past life.  As a result, in this life you are now experiencing allergies toward hay.   Spiritual healing is nothing more than the integration or digestion of past pain.  With the integration of your past pain your reaction to hay is simply eliminated.

You may view under “Testimonials” a recent testimonial from one of my clients about her allergies.
